For more than 40 years, I've lived and breathed perfume. I poured my heart and soul into it. I dedicated my life to creating beautiful fragrances. Along the way, I learned one simple truth... Without a single warning sign, I found myself in the back of an ambulance... sirens blaring, racing through red lights, oxygen tubes in my nose, IVs in my arms, wires attached to my body, wondering if this was going to be it. I kept thinking, "Will I ever see my family again?" The heart specialists gave me only a 10% chance of surviving. There were no other options. If I wanted any chance to live, I had to undergo open-heart surgery. When I finally woke up... My wife told me I didn't recognize anyone. Not her. Not my children. Not even my grandchildren. I became legally disabled. I was stuck in a wheelchair. My income vanished overnight. In the blink of an eye, everything I had spent more than 40 years building went up in smoke. Our home went up for auction. Just when I thought life couldn't get any worse... People say lightning never strikes twice.

For our family...It did. Our precious baby girl was diagnosed with two brain tumors.In the blink of an eye, our entire world was on fire. I was no longer fighting to save my own life. The little girl I was fighting for... now sits beside me every day, carefully helping my wife and me handcraft your favorite fragrances. Sometimes I stop and watch her for a moment with tears in my eyes, and realize just how blessed we are. Without her, I couldn't have done it. Maybe God knew exactly what He was doing all along. What started as a way to help my family through the darkest days of our lives became something I never saw coming... A second chance.
